MRNL’s Vacation by Josh for MRNL
There once was a girl named Meri,
Who’s cute but sometimes scary,
She went on vacation
But was allergic to the lotion,
So now she’s as red as a cherry!
A ten hour drive she took,
No internet, no computer, no book,
She’s still online
And can post just fine,
On booze her parent’s heads shook!
Of course she went a-swimming,
then later a little sailing,
She had a jog
And surfed like a log,
She’s tired, so now she’s whining!
Messages from her are at random times,
sometimes a word or a couple of lines,
At least one text
From her I get,
So my day has a brighter shine!
Despite away she’s always there,
A virtual cookie and teddy bear,
A snuggle or laugh
Then a glare and half,
Point is, I feel her care.
She’s leaving Florida for home,
Hopefully with no broken bones,
She got some shells,
Like the sea she smells,
And a ton of pictures on her phone!
Thank you for your IMing spree,
On your iPhone you were with me,
And thank you for tumblr
And that 4 hour slumber,
Thanks for bringing the sea!
